You don’t have to get married on a Saturday. Some of the best weddings I’ve shot have happened on a Friday or on a Wednesday night at a brewery. Don’t feel boxed in to do what other people have done. This is the time to do what makes you two happy. So if you invite your 20 closest friends and family or have 250 guests, it’s about the experience that matters most.
As an Ohio wedding photographer, my approach to photography is a guided experience that represents who you and your partner are. I call it a plandid approach. With some directions and prompts, I guide my clients to get the shots they want. I take the responsibility off of them to come up with what to do. The other part of my approach is documentary style photography — I photograph moments how they are without any prompt or notice. I stand back and just capture the moment while it is happening. It’s a little bit of both that make up a wedding day.

Relax: You are in good hands. With over 10 years of wedding experience, I have been through it all. I am here for you now, the wedding, and all the things after the big day. I am here to be by your side while capturing authentic moments that will be cherished for generations to come.
Recreation: My goal for you is to enjoy your day. That seems almost obvious, but there can be a lot of pressure to have a perfect wedding day. As your Ohio wedding photographer, I will do anything and everything to make sure you are comfortable, confident, and true to who you two are.
OHIO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
A true to color photographer that values a good time while capturing your dream day.
I recently moved to a cute little farmhouse in Ohio after getting engaged to the love of my life, Hayden. So I am right there with you, planning a wedding that feels like the both of us.
I often travel to Fort Wayne and Indianapolis for my amazing clients, but with this move, I am trying to pivot markets so I can be a little closer to home more often.
When I am not working I enjoy gardening, volunteering with BBBS, and I also play an active role in a summer camp for kiddos experiencing cancer.
Along with weddings & elopements, I also photograph families, maternity, newborn, and portrait sessions.
Whether you’re traveling somewhere new or someplace cool, I will meet you anywhere your celebration happens. I have photographed weddings all over Indiana + FL, NC, MI, OH, Jamaica, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.

“Rachel was the first vendor I contacted. After seeing her work and getting to hang out with her while she shot a friend's wedding, I knew that her combo of talent and personality were what we needed in a photographer. Every meeting with Rachel reaffirmed our decision. She made us feel so comfortable during our engagement session (which she came all the way to our local Philly to shoot) and made absolute magic out of our photos.
Her tone, editing, and curation are STUNNING. She did her homework and went to our wedding portrait location the day before our wedding. She was so personable with our family and every guest at our wedding commented on how impressed they were with Rachel.
Book Rachel, you will be so glad that you did!”

Don’t let your wedding bouquet wilt, preserve your flowers with a custom dried floral arrangement.
